Cliffside Escape

The fresh smell of dew hung in the air as rays of sunlight pierced through the dense clouds. Blue jays and songbirds were singing their own tune, creating a serene ambience for the sea of green hills. Paul felt compelled to just roll around in the thick grass.
On the far side of the meadow, it laid flat before revealing the cliff on which it stood. Down below, the sea licked at the rocks spraying the salty air into the mix of dew.
Even ecstasy couldn’t describe the bubbling feeling within Paul. His place, no, their place, was the most perfect spot in the world.
